On the second weekend of every month, a free market called the art market opens.
Handmade artists gather together to display and sell cute and pretty fashion accessories and everyday items such as cans, hand knitting, leather crafts, and accessories. It is said to be popular among children, parents, and young people because it has a youthful and attention grabbing sensation. When Free Market is opened, you can also try a simple experience activity on the left panel of the market. As many family-based tourists visit the store, the market is known to have a culture session.


There are places where you they sell used items at low prices, not to mention new ones, so you might have an opportunity to get great products.


When the free market is opened, various events and cultural events are held together to create a festive atmosphere.
There are also various events to win gifts and an auction within the 100 won range, so do not miss out.

There is also one more special benefit that is available only on this day.
Noodle, Tteokbokki, Fish cake, Mung bean pancake as well as other diverse foods are being sold for 1,000 won each.
Other than that, there are various other foods to have a look at, where the time will fly by just by eye shopping at the different kinds of foods available.

Its shape resembles tadpole, thus, it inherited the name tadpole noodle. Its savory taste and soft texture makes it easy to digest and chew for both the children and the elderly. Back in the days people used to eat this food as a main dish in Gangwon-do.
