Heunginjimun, the first treasure in Korea, is a destination that is popular both for domestic and foreign travelers because of its beautiful scenery.

Heunginjimun was built during Taejo when constructing the city city, but now it is a newly built by Gojong. For that reason, it is well-regarded as an outstanding building in architectural history because it manifests how well the architecture style of the late Joseon Dynasty was.

It is a two-story building with 5 front and 2 side panels. The roof is trapezoidal frame when viewed from the front.

In addition, a semi-circular wall was built to protect the gate and keep it strong.
