Pyeongchang Mui Art Museum, a Cultural Space Together

This is the home of Lee Hyun-seok, the master of contemporary literature, and the real background of his masterpiece, “Buckwheat Flower”. The work of famous artists has been set up at Mui Elementary School in Bongpyeong, Pyeongchang-gun.
Artists gather at Muni Elementary School, which was closed down after leaving 700 graduates, and display many works after two years of preparation. The classroom where the children were studying became the artist’s studio, and the playing field became a sculpture park.

Here you can find a variety of paintings and works of art, including works by Jeong Yeon-seo, who paints buckwheat flowers.

In addition to taking a leisurely look around at artworks, you can enjoy a variety of programs.
Buckwheat flowers, as it is located in Bongpyeong, making buckwheat blossom flowers, drawing buckwheat flowers on a wooden tree, and making buckwheat flower necklaces are the most popular experiences. You can also experience calligraphy by writing Chinese characters or poems.
