Jeongseon is also the host city of the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics Alpine Games.

From February 7~25th, Jeongseon is said to host the 2018 Jeongseon Icicles Festival to host the Winter Olympics successfully.

27 programs will be held in nine categories, including mountain village culture experience and customized traditional culture experience for foreign tourists in connection with the Winter Olympics.
